makeup tips1 Important Beauty Tip When to Throw Out Old Makeup
Every woman on earth buys and uses makeup to look beautiful. Makeup prices can range from the ultra cheap to the very expensive branded products that only the elite can afford. However, not many women realize that makeup can also and does expire, and when that happens no matter how expensive that makeup is you are supposed to dispose of it immediately. Bad or expired makeup can cause a lot of trouble on your skin, so you need to be careful to read the expiration label on your makeup box. Some women never have to worry about their makeup becoming too old because they wear it so often that they replace it regularly. However, some people who have a large amount of makeup or only wear it every so often tend to hoard their face makeup for far too long.

Many women will keep the same lipstick, the same eyeliner, the same blush, the same eye shadow, lip liner, and mascara for years and never realize it could be dangerous. What you may not know is face makeup that is old tends to hold dangerous bacteria that can be harmful to both your health and your skin.

Therefore it is essential to know when face makeup becomes too old to use and when it is time to throw it away. Use this guide to help you sort through your makeup bag and determine what to keep and what to toss.

Not many of us know when we purchased our makeup, particularly if we don’t purchase it very often. A good tip for that is to take a pen and record the month and year that it was purchased. This can be a great way to remember when it is time to throw away. An alternative is to mark the month and year that it should be thrown away, this saves you from having to figure it out later.

Eye Shadow and Eye Liners – The general rule with eye shadow and liners is that if it is liquid, it should be replaced a maximum of six months after purchase. For liner pencils and powder eye shadows, these should be replaced within a year.

If you have gotten an infection of the eye, you should make sure you immediately throw all eye makeup away and purchase new.

Lipstick – Your lipstick should be thrown away two years after purchase. If the smell or color changes, or you happen to notice beads of oil building up on the bullet of the lipstick, it is time to throw it away.

Loose Powder – Loose powders should be thrown away a year after purchase.

Concealer and Foundation – Both foundation and concealers should be thrown out six months after purchase. However, if you notice a funny smell or separation of the liquid, you should throw it out immediately.

Powder Blush – Powder blush should be discarded a year after purchase. If you happen to notice clumping or flaking of the blush, then you should throw it out and replace it.

Mascara – Mascara has the least amount of shelf life. It should without a doubt be thrown out three months after purchase.

Your overall health and skin health depend on your makeup and sorting through it routinely. So the next time you buy makeup make sure to look for the expiration date on the box or bottle of the product. This will ensure that the makeup you buy has a long enough expiration period that will allow you to finish the product before it expires.

You may be looking for just a few beauty tips that may actually help you feel even more beautiful than you already are. You might also like a few natural beauty tips as well? Take a look below for some beauty tips and a bit of advice that you will probably find to be useful.First beauty tip: Don’t be afraid to get a makeover if you feel your make up isn’t quite working anymore. Remember as the seasons change, as you grow older, or even as life events occur, they can all affect how you look. Skin tone and color can actually darken or lighten, along with hair color. So, get some expert advice on the right colors for you whenever you think things look a bit off.

A distinct beauty tip: Remember  that  as a general rule, less is more. That has always been so true. Apply your make up keeping that in mind. Have a complementary hair style that does not have everyone just noticing your hair. Blend and then harmonize.

That beauty advice needs to be said again. Less is more.  Amusingly, most men are not attracted to an overly made up woman. They fall in love with the real you. Don’t try to fake them out. Do what you can to make yourself look great, without overdoing it!

Some natural beauty tips:

Walk tall and keep your head up and your shoulders back. Your good posture not only allows the energy to flow through your body better, but it also can help you to look a bit slimmer.

Keep your body toned with an exercise program that does not build bulky muscles.

To prevent dark circles under your eyes, try sleeping with a couple of pillows.

Keep a positive attitude and a really happy outlook. Angry or antagonistic attitudes, postures, and countenances cause your beauty to dissipate, and make things like wrinkles come even sooner.

Some more beauty tips:

Use a good soap  and also  splurge on this!

Make sure that  you keep your skin toned and moisturized.

If you are in a hot, dry, and sunny climate, keep sun block on your face as much as possible.

Whenever you wear perfume make sure that the scent works with the total chemistry of your body.  Not all perfumes work well for all women!

When you step back and think about all the beauty tips and advice that is available to you, there is one very important overriding message to remember.  Always keep yourself in good health. That includes proper nutrition, rest, and attitude. It includes an exercise program essential to staying fit and helping to keep off those unwanted pounds. Hopefully these beauty tips will actually help you live a longer life and not just look great (but that’s always nice too).
